Lyrics

TOO BIG TO FAIL
(Lyrics and music by Winston Apple)

They say Barry’s done a bad, bad thing
They say it over and over again, day after day, year after year
They ain’t got a kind word for our president
But he seems to have done okay on Election Days
And I believe he’ll be okay come Judgment Day

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus
And there’s an Easter Bunny and, more importantly, once upon a time
There was Lincoln, King, a couple Kennedys, Mohandas Ghandi and Jesus Christ
And every one of them stood up for what was right
And paid with his life

We’ve got a movement underway
It seems to be getting bigger by the day
As more and more of us are coming out to play
And though it may yet be too early to tell
It is beginning to look like eventually we will be too big to fail

You think that Truth is inconvenient
Well, Baby, you ain’t seen nothing yet
We’re about to shine the light of Truth on all of your clever deceptions
We’re too big to fail
We’re getting bigger and we ain’t gonna hedge our bets
We’re all in now

We’ve got a movement underway
It seems to be getting bigger by the day
As more and more of us are coming out to play
And though it may yet be too early to tell
It is beginning to look like eventually we will be too big to fail

I’ve always tried to live like Someone’s watching
And these days, even if no one else is, I’m pretty sure the NSA is watching me
Hey, they’re watching you too, and YouTube, and you two over there
But they’d better not look too close
They might get confused
When they realize some of us are watching them too
They might get a little more confused when to some small degree
They realize they like what they see
