We’ve got a lot of problems that need to be addressed
And there’s a lot of us trying, and we’re doing our best
But the GOP keeps saying “No”
We’re trying to make our way to The Promised Land
And they’re blocking up the road
What we need to do is plain to see
We’ve got to just say “No” to the GOP

The GOP believes that every problem has a simple fix
Push through another round of tax cuts for the richest of the rich
They say just let them keep their money
Some of it will trickle down
I say, let’s have them pay their fair share
Spread the burden all around
What we need to do seems clear to me
We’ve got to just say “No” to the GOP

If you want full employment at a living wage
Just say “No” to the GOP
If you want health care for all at affordable rates
Just say “No” to the GOP
We can do something about the climate crisis before it is too late
If we can get this herd of pachyderms moved out of the way

So just say “No” to the GOP
You know the Grand Old Party ain’t the party that it used to be
They started out so noble, they abolished slavery
Now they seem intent on keeping wage slaves trapped in poverty
This ain’t it has to be we can just say “No” to the GOP
So just say “No” to the GOP
